In the last week we reported on a book that was written by former human resource manager at the Kruger National Park which detailed allegations of wrongdoing and abuse. The book titled, Untold Stories about the Dark Side of the Kruger National Park, was authored by former Kruger National Park human resources senior manager Risenga Matelakengisa and tells of startling accounts of racism and torture allegations that were recently made by black field rangers and, last year, prompted SA National Parks (SANParks) management to hire Advocate Boyce Mkhize from Analytical Forensic Investigation Services to investigate. We have since spoken to the author of the book Mr Risenga Matelakengisa and gotten a reaction from Mr Ike Phaahla of SANParks. However during one of our interviews the journalist who wrote the story in a weekend newspaper was accused of having an agenda against the Kruger National Park
