Jannie de Villiers upbeat about summer grain production

OFM News’ agri editor Sabrina Dean speaks to Grain SA CEO Jannie de Villiers about widespread rainfall, progress with summer grain planting and the state of the wheat harvest. De Villiers is very upbeat about the new season. He says soil moisture levels are much better than last year and planting is well underway in the eastern parts of the country. He says Western Cape wheat producers also look set for a bumper harvest this year:
