OFM News’ agri editor Sabrina Dean speaks to Brian Angus of Woodview Farm in Arlington in the Free State about a multi-million Rand Wagyu cattle auction that took place at the weekend. Angus says the average lot price for the 39 animals on offer came in at R240-thousand, with two red Wagyu bulls realising a price of R530-thousand each. They also speak about the outlook for the future of the breed in South Africa and look into more about what makes Wagyu different to other beef cattle.
