#SanitaryProducts| Minister assures women about the safety of sanitary products usage

Health Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi has assured women that the endocrine-disrupting chemicals found in certain brands of sanitary towels and panty liners are normal. He was speaking to Nghamula Chauke after the press briefing that he had with journalists as a response to research conducted by the University of the Free State which found EDCs in 16 popular sanitary products. Motsoaledi says that these EDCs are not new, and they are found literally everywhere even in the foods that are consumed daily.
