#CommunityEngagement| Municipality leadership seeks to resolve issues on the ground

The Executive Mayor of Capricorn District Municipality Mamedupi Teffo says she has noted concerns raised by communities under Lepelle Nkumpi Municipality. Teffo visited the municipality as part of the imbizo engagements to listen and resolve service delivery issues faced by communities. She told Nghamula Chauke that community members are complaining about water provision and the installation of smart meters, where most want their historic debts to be erased before accepting the new order of things. Teffo has also raised concerns about the non-payment of municipal services by businesses and some government departments.
