#SARB| Reactions on the Reserve Bank's Phala Phala report

Economic and political analyst, Khaya Sithole says the findings of the Reserve Bank on the Phala Phala farm theft investigation are surprising. The Reserve bank was investigating whether there were any exchange control violations linked to stolen foreign currency in the president's farm. Sithole told Nghamula Chauke that the bank seems to have limited its scope and found a lopehole in the rules, to arrive at a finding that there was no evidence of wrongdoing on the part of President Cyril Ramaphosa.
