Covid-19: Pilots join hands to deliver food in poor communities

A group of pilots from across South Africa have joined hands to provide relief to communities in remote areas. Felix Gosher, a commercial pilot from Gauteng spearheaded The Covid Flight initiative in April this year. He says it was started by the group of pilots out of necessity, because they saw a need in communities in rural areas suffering economically under the national Covid-19 lock down. Food donations have been mostly provided by farmers, who in Gosher's opinion are the real heroes, involved in the initiative.
