He has applauded the province for their top matric pass rate and said he is certain they will reclaim the first position countywide with the class of 2019. He further expressed his gratitude to the provincial government for being the first province to roll out tablets at schools in efforts to improve the state of education and to give learners digital access to textbooks. After handing over hundreds of tablets to Grade 10 learners from the Thahameso Secondary School in Phuthaditjhaba, Ramaphosa assured the public that they are going to fast-track this initiative and involve more schools in the province.

This project was run by the Closed-loop Learner Network (CLN). Read more: https://www.ofm.co.za/article/centralsa/273356/ramaphosa-expresses-confidence-in-fs-education-photo-gallery
