NW health hearings results out soon

The results of embattled North West Health Department Head, Thabo Lekalakala's disciplinary hearing will be known soon. This, as his hearing into charges relating to the alleged procurement irregularities with the controversial Gupta-linked company Mediosa, among others, continues. Departmental spokesperson, Tebogo Lekgethwane, says his hearing sat on 11 and 12 February this year. OFM News previously reported that Lekalakala returned to work on 19 November 2018, after he lobbied for the labour court to reinstate him with immediate effect despite his on-going internal disciplinary hearings - and his special leave was nullified.
