SAPS: Response to robberies & cash heists

The South African Police Services says it will be upgrading its technology to respond to crime scenes with immediately effect.

The country has been abuzz with cash in transit heists and hijacking's being reported at least every second week.

At a briefing in Pretoria, Police Commissioner General Khehla Sitole says SAPS officers will be given more capacity including airplanes that which will be deployed during various crime scenes.
