Arts and Culture minister emphasizes importance of Freedom Day

Minister of Arts and Culture, Nathi Mthethwa, says it is of great importance for the country to keep commemorating days such as Freedom Day. Speaking ahead of the national celebrations taking place at the Dr Rantlai Molema Stadium, in Bloemfontein, Mthethwa told OFM News that it is such days that reminds the country of how far South Africa has come and how much struggle icons fought for liberation. OFM News' Katleho Morapela reports that Mthethwa said it is such days that also reminds the country of how much more still needs to be achieved.
