Mahlobo: Nuclear not done deal

Bloemfontein - David Mahlobo, the Minister of Energy, has slammed his critics on the controversial nuclear deal, saying the matter is not yet a done deal.
Speaking to the media at an outreach event in Bloemfontein, Mahlobo emphasised that before there can be a nuclear deal, certain processes and laws would need to followed, as a decision of that magnitude could not be taken as easily as some as saying it will be taken. Mahlobo says the only projects his department has concluded on include the renewable programme, which will see independent power producers supplying energy to the state as well as the signing off on the Section 34 determination that will allow for the procurement of additional energy resources such as solar, gas and wind. - Pulane Choane/OFM News
