A reward of R25 000 is being offered for information that could lead to the arrest of a person allegedly involved in brutalising a dachshund or sausage dog in Bloemfontein. The SPCA’s Reinet Meyer says a member of the public in Rocklands contacted them with regard to the dog’s injuries. She says it is suspected that someone tied the dog to a car and dragged it behind the vehicle. Meyer adds the dog had severe injuries including a broken leg and hip and had to put down.
