Torsten van Jaarsveld will be leading the Toyota Cheetahs on Saturday during their Guinness Pro14 derby against the Southern Kings in Port Elizabeth.

The Springboks centre, Francois Venter, has been ruled out of the clash due to a neck injury.

This does leave the team with a selection headache, seeing that William Small-Smith has also been ruled out due a knee injury and will undergo a scan today. At this stage is doesn’t seem as if either injury it to serious.

Clinton Swart may however be available for the match aftermissing the trip to Italy last week due to illness.

The good news for the team is that the loose-forward, Henco Venter, has recovered from concussion is available for selection this week. Should Venter make the trip to the Eastern Cape it will be a welcome addition to the side.

The Cheetahs coach, Rory Duncan, told OFM Sport that there will been tough selections for the clash in the Friendly City.
