FS Dam levels drop week on week

Despite recent rainfalls, water restrictions are still in force, as water supply in the Free State remains critically low. According to the Department of Water and Sanitation’s spokesperson, Sputnik Ratau, dam levels continue to drop week on week. Ratau says we have been experiencing high temperatures of late which obviously have led to higher evaporation rates. He also stressed that not all rain, falls within catchment areas feed a particular dam. - josca Human/OFM News
