The Springbok loose forward, Jean-Luc du Preez, has been withdrawn from the end-of-year-tour to Ireland, France, Italy and Wales, and has been replaced by Ruan Botha.

The player fractured his ankle on Saturday during the Currie Cup final between the Sharks and Western Province in Durban.

The Springbok coach, Allister Coetzee, confirms that Du Preez will miss out on the Outgoing Tour.

The Springboks fly out Ireland in two batches on Friday and Saturday.
