Car dragged several meters by truck on N3

Police in the Free State are investigating a case of reckless or negligent driving after a car drove into a moving truck's trailer on the N3 outside Harrismith early yesterday morning. Police spokesperson, Mmako Mophiring, says a blue Volkswagen Golf with two occupants was dragged several metres by the 18 wheeler truck.

Netcare911 spokesperson, Athlenda Mathe says the driver of the Golf, and a passenger sustained serious injuries. The passanger had to be extricated from the wereckage. Both occupants were rushed to the Busamed Hospital in Harrismith. (WEB: Mathe could not confirm the sex of the two occupants.)
