KZN teen hopes for answers on doomed MH370 flight

The South African teenager who found a piece of plane debris which has now been confirmed to have been part of the ill-fated MH370, says he hopes officials will continue to dig until they are certain about what happened to the flight.

Liam Lotter from Wartburg in KwaZulu-Natal and his cousin were walking on a beach in Mozambique in December when they made the find.

The aircraft, with 239 people were on board, weent missing two years ago during a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.

According to the Australian Transport Safety Bureau, the '676EB' print on the part suggests it originated from MH370. Reports suggest the search area will not be widened until there are new leads on a specific location.
