The ANC will meet with the Gupta family this week after claims the politically connected family has been offering people Cabinet posts and using their political influence to advance their businesses.
ANC Secretary General Gwede Mantashe has told party members to approach his office with evidence, adding that they will be protected politically if they come forward.
The ANC’s National Executive Committee (NEC) met at the weekend and while it reaffirmed its confidence in President Jacob Zuma as the party's president, Mantashe said claims the Gupta family has "captured the state" will be investigated.
The Gupta family has denied any wrongdoing.
