Body of FS medical student killed in Cuba to be sent home soon

The body of a Free State medical student, who was stabbed to death in Cuba, is expected to return home in about 10 days. Mbuti Twala, from QwaQwa, was a second-year medical student at the Latin American Medical School in Cuba. He was allegedly stabbed to death by three locals in an "alcohol-related" attack on December 28. Free State premier, Ace Magashule has sent his condolences to Twala's family. His spokesperson, Setjhaba Maphalla says the provincial government is working closely with the Department of International Relations to ensure the safe repatriation of Twala's remains.
