Victor Sekekete - Currie Cup opener against Boland

The 2025 Currie Cup Premier Division kicks off this weekend, with the Pumas hosting the Suzuki Griquas in Nelspruit on Friday night.
The Toyota Cheetahs, in turn, will have to travel all the way down to Wellington in the Cape, where they’ll be up against Hawies Fourie’s Boland Cavaliers.
The Cavaliers have signed the former Cheetah, David Brits, as well as former Springbok scrumhalf Louis Schreuder.
During round one of the SA Cup, Boland stunned the Cheetahs 45-29, but Free State captain Victor Sekekete told OFM Sport that this time around, they’ll be much better.
