History was made in Durban yesterday, with the young Dylan Naidoo winning the 2025 South African Open at the Durban Country Club.
Due to the persistent rain in Durban last week, only three rounds were managed, but the champion was decided by a playoff.
With South Africa’s Naidoo and England’s Laurie Canter tied for the lead on 14-under-par after three rounds, a playoff was played.
After winning the playoff, Naidoo said he decided to go for broke.
