The Suzuki Griquas have received a significant boost ahead of their SA Cup title defence which will kick-off next month.
The former Springbok Sevens speedster, Sako Makata, is back at the Peacock Blues on loan from the Stormers.
Makata quickly became a crowd favourite at the Griquas last season and played a huge role for them in winning the inaugural SA Cup.
In addition to Makata rejoining the Griquas, the former Junior Springbok tighthead prop, Corné Weilbach, has also reported for duty in Kimberley on loan from the Stormers.
The Griquas will kick-off their SA Cup title defence on 7 March when they tackle the Leopards at Olën Park in Potchefstroom. This match will kick-off at 18:30.
