The Knights batter, Patrick Botha, has warned against dwelling on the past ahead of their One-Day Cup opener against the North West Dragons in Potchefstroom on the weekend.
There has been no domestic cricket in South Africa since December and the players from both teams are champing at the bit ahead of the big Central South African derby.
The Free State are playing in the One-Day Cup for the first time since 2023 and they want to make a big statement in their return to the competition.
The seasoned Botha told OFM Sport that the focus is on the now.
