Bafana Bafana and Mamelodi Sundowns were dealt a massive blow last night during South Africa’s draw against the Republic of Congo.
The 35-year-old midfielder, Themba Zwane, left the field injured during the 1-1 draw in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Brazzaville.
There was an immediate difference in South Africa’s attack when the highly experienced player was forced to leave the field injured.
The Bafana Bafana coach, Hugh Broos, confirmed that Zwane will spend a lengthy period on the sidelines.
