The Proteas will head back to the drawing board heading into their game against Scotland at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Dubai.
Last night South Africa lost their first game of the campaign with a 7-wicket defeat against England in Sharjah.
South Africa got off to a good start with the bat, but were only able to score 124/6 in their 20-overs.
England only managed to chase down the runs with four balls to spare, however South Africa also only had themselves to blame as they dropped five catches.
The captain, Laura Wolvaardt, who scored 42-runs, said their field needs to improve going forward.
