The former Knights fast bowler Quinton Friend has been appointed as the new head coach of the Dolphins cricket team.
The 42-year-old Friend has been in the coaching setup at the Dolphins for the past five years where he served as the bowling coach and as an assistant coach.
He takes over the role from Imraan Khan who had left the franchise to take up the batting leads role at Cricket South Africa’s High-Performance centre in Pretoria.
Friend told OFM Sport that he has always dreamt of coaching at this level.
