Small business not considered regarding national minimum wage increase

Alan Mukoki, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SACCI) accuses government of only consulting big business regarding the National Minimum Wage (NMW) which will go up from R 25,42 to R 27,58 for each hour worked as of 1 March 2024. He says its small business that bears the burden of an increase to the rate.
