Francois Venter - Springboks dreams

Loading player...
The former Toyota Cheetahs captain, Francois Venter, still has ambitions to play for the Springboks again.
Last week the centre signed a contract to further his career at the Sharks after four-years in England. Venter played for the Worcester Warriors that got liquidated and this left him without a contract.
The Sharks were quick to sign the player that led the Cheetahs to the Currie Cup title in 2016.
Venter started training with the Sharks yesterday after he was side-lined earlier in the week due to illness.
The seasoned players said despite being ill, it was easy slotting in with his new team and they in turn made him feel welcome.
