Simeon Hurwitz is a well-known Boran cattle breeder near Davel in Mpumalanga. Simeon is the former President of the Boran stud breeders society and a familiar name in SA Studbook circles. His annual production auction is seen as an almost mini-Nampo and people from all over South Africa travel long distances to attend a popular day on the agri calendar. Hurwitz explains why the day is so popular and what to expect this coming weekend.
