Christmas is about giving, and a local Bloemfontein swimming club decided to do just that.
Bloemfontein swimming club Neptune Aquatics decided to use their resources and time to raise money and donate gifts to Therapea-Kids, a registered child and youth care centre in Bloemfontein.
21 girls each received a gift bag with swimming costumes, gifts, and candy. Eleven are going to various holiday locations to temporary families to spend the holidays.
Neptune Aquatics head coach, Clinton Thomas, tells OFM News the opportunity to give back has taught his swimmers to be grateful and appreciative.
