Restaurants look ahead to 2-week review of Covid-19 restrictions

The restaurant and hospitality industry is looking ahead to government’s review of the current alert level 2 restrictions in the next two weeks. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Restaurant Association of South Africa, Wendy Alberts, says they are hopeful that come then the government will engage the industry on restrictions impacting them. She says the industry has been largely ignored when it comes to the conversation around said restrictions. They are also seeking financial relief and assistance.
