Not all REITs suffered at the hands of Covid-19

Not all Real Investment Trust shares took a knock as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic and some suffered more than others. This is according to the CEO of Galetti Corporate Real Estate, John Jack who sat down with the Business Hour to discuss what Reits are and to delve into the strategies that are being devised to counter the challenging housing market. Jack explains that Reits are companies that own, operate or finance income-producing properties. Those that own office property for instance were hit hard as remote working came into play during the harder lockdown levels, but this wasn’t the case for all Reits.
