Funeral arrangements confirmed for beloved BFN Reverend

A memorial service for the beloved Bloemfontein preacher, Reverend Kiepie Jaftha, will be held at Long Island, Heidedal, on Friday between 17h00 and 18h00. It will be a drive-through event. A funeral service for his family will be held on Sunday. The necessary Covid-19 protocols will be adhered to on both occasions. News of his death on Monday morning was confirmed by his family. Tributes and condolences are still pouring following the news of his passing. Rev. Jaftha was a well-known figure in education and child care circles. He was the Northern Cape Deputy Manager of the Federation of Governing Bodies of South African Schools (FEDSAS), was previously employed by the University of the Free State, and he also served as the chairman of the OFM board. Gary Stroebel, CEO of Future Media, served on the OFM board with Reverend Jaftha for many years.
