The final month of the tax year is upon us, prompting us to review our finances ahead of filing our returns later this year. This tax year has been particularly challenging for most South Africans, and many of us have had to dip into multiple income streams. Whether you have always had multiple sources of income or have tapped into additional income streams this year, you need to make sure that the correct tax rates are being applied, or you could find yourself facing an unexpected tax bill when tax filing season arrives.
