Yesterday saw the start of 16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children and the president delivered a speech last night where he made a statement that "Violence against women isn't a women's problem but a men's problem. Darren, Keri and Sky spoke to Dr Sandile Tshabalala who is the HOD for the Department of Health in KZN to learn more about the Department of Health's campaign called 'Ikhosomba lamadoda' formed to create dialogues with men to tackle certain issues, including gender-based violence. Has the Department found these useful? Have men been able to open up about issues such as GBV? These are some of the questions Dr Tshabalala answered in this week's podcast.
