Since the introduction of lockdown to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, the South African National Blood Service faces challenges that have raised concerns about the blood donation cycle which has led to global blood shortages. ECR has partnered with the SANBS on a mission to collect 400 units of blood in one day.
