JSbu shares his millennial parenting style

Millennial parenting: how different are you to how your parents parented you? A new study has revealed that millennials may be the most family-oriented generation in the last 50 years. Millennial parents are said to be changing the norm to raise healthier kids.

Now, lets be honest, millennials are known for many things mainly based on stereotypes but we can all agree that in general the new generation is often seen as being irresponsible. When you think of family values, do millennial parents come to mind? If we are being honest I think most of us despite our age would answer with a 'no'.

Research and statistics by Working Mother Research Institute indicate that millennials, those born between 1981 and 1996—may be the most family-oriented generation in the last 50 years. Perhaps many of the younger generation haven’t bought into the kid-free, commitment-free lifestyle as much as it appears in the media.

JSbu who is the proud father of baby Zanda, agrees with the above research. JSbu shares that he and his father in particular have a very different parenting style and as much as he appreciates the way his father and mother brought him up he feels that he would of benefitted from how he parents his son, Zanda.
