Demaries Creations is a 100% female owned, black owned business based in Soshanguve that specialises in custom cakes for celebrations. The company was founded by Mary Mathebula in 2015 at her house with the aim of offering clients the best cake experience. Demaries Creations also has a training wing, where they arrange workshops for up and coming bakers to sharpen their skill. Their custom cakes have travelled to almost all provinces in South Africa and even to neighbouring Zimbabwe. The company has steadily grown over the years and has created full time employment and skills transfer to 2 young people.
