Bonteheuwel CBD upgrade commences

Bonteheuwel residents are beyond excited as today marks a very special day for residents, today the handover to the contractor will take place and the rejuvenation of the Bonteheuwel CBD will start. As part of the Mayoral Urban Regeneration Programme (MURP), the City of Cape Town has allocated R4 million for phase 1 of the Bonteheuwel Town Centre upgrade in the 2019/20 financial year. Now as many of you may recall, residents came out in their numbers to approve the upgrade of the area’s central business district on Saturday March 7.
