Imam Haron annual memorial lecture

The 13th annual Imam Haron Memorial Lecture takes on Sunday. The event forms part of a series of initiatives commemorating the life of Imam Abdullah Haron – who was murdered by the Apartheid Security Branch in September 1969. Imam Haron, as we know, fought against social injustice and believed education could restore the dignity of people. Recently, Al Jazeera did a brilliant documentary telling the story of the imam.
