
Western Cape: Learners head back to school today

Following the announcement made by President Cyril Ramaphosa last month stating that all public schools were forced to shut their doors after Cabinet decided on a four-week break from 27 July, many of our scholars will be returning to school today. Now the forced shutdown of schools was implemented as the country saw a spike in covid 19 cases and had to implement a plan to try and curb the spread of the virus. There are still a few concerns about the reopening of schools, while many others are a bit at ease as we have seen a drop in covid 19 cases.
