The NSFAS decision to defund 5000 students whose parents earned above the R350k threshold has been described as insensitive and brutal, with many people coming forward saying that it will lead to the financial exclusion of most affected students. Now the issue has raised quite a bit of concern as people have also come forward saying that they meet the criteria for the financial aid but are still denied funding so we thought it fitting to chat to Dr Randall Carolissen, NSFAS Administrator.
