SSLAC launches 3-part series on women rights this August

In support of the presidents call to bring an end to Gender Based Violence, the Southern Suburbs Legal Advice Centre will be hosting a series during this month to highlight women’s rights. SSLAC stands for the emancipation of women. This means breaking down all forms of oppression against women, which includes racial oppression, class oppression and gender oppression, and in their place, SSLAC advance the economic empowerment of women, the entrenchment of the rights of women and the provision of legal instruments to protect such rights.
