VOW FM 88.1 — The South African National Defence Force, the SANDF in short has warned soldiers to abide by the law after the death of a 40-year-old man in Alexandra township, north of Johannesburg this past weekend. The man was reportedly drinking in his yard on Saturday when he was approached by SANDF officials who questioned him then proceeded to assault him. So far there have been nine people who were allegedly killed by the police and soldiers during the national lockdown- which was extended by another two weeks by President Ramaphosa. To understand what recourse civilians have, Game Bovana speaks to attorney Tshepo Mohapi who is the host of the Law Focus on VOWFM.
