Dineo Mokoena
Dineo Mokoena is a professional nurse based in Johannesburg, Gauteng,
currently serving at Discoverers Community Health Centre in Florida,
Roodepoort. She works in Adolescent and Youth Friendly Services (AYFS) and
is also a Key Populations trained nurse and a trained PrEP Champion. Dineo is
currently involved in the first phase of the lenacapavir rollout, supporting the
introduction of this innovative HIV prevention option through education,
counselling and clinical services.
Her interests lie in HIV prevention, sexual and reproductive health, health
education and community outreach, with a particular passion for creating safe
and welcoming spaces where young people and the broader community can
access healthcare without judgement. Through her work, Dineo is committed to
empowering individuals with knowledge and expanding access to effective HIV
prevention services.
