Twenty-five years after the September 11 attacks, Jacaranda Newswatch remembers South African victims and former Gauteng residents Nicholas Rowe and Craig Gibson.
Nick Rowe, a 29-year-old from Johannesburg, was at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, for a business presentation. He had attended St John’s College in Houghton, Johannesburg, from Grade 1 through to Matric.
In this episode, Adrian Norris from St John’s College, speaks to Chanel September about who Nick Rowe was as a student, how the school remembers him, and the legacy he has left behind 25 years later.
