Fresh & Thato spoke to Mail & Guardian Journalist, Kenneth Kgwadi on what to make of Eugene de Kock resurgence on Facebook, the former Vlakplaas commander, convicted of apartheid-era crimes including murder, is reportedly running a Facebook page where he's been dropping revelations from his past. He says the page is there to archive history, but the pictures is said to tell a different story, medals on display, prizes from his time as a soldier and later as a police commander at Vlakplaas, and a tone that reads more like pride than confession. The liberation movements namely the ANC, SACP, PAC and Azapo have all come out against the page, calling it a whitewash of what De Kock and his unit did under apartheid.
