KZN Department of Social Development appoints 139 new employees

The KwaZulu Natal Department of Social Development has appointed 139 new employees, including 102 social workers, as part of its commitment to strengthen social services across the province.

In this East Coast Radio conversation, Tee Xaba speaks to KZN MEC for Social Development Mbali Shinga about fulfilling a promise to tackle the shortage of social workers, improving service delivery, and supporting communities affected by gender-based violence, substance abuse, teenage pregnancy and other social challenges.
