Hy verwys ook na die onlangse Sokkie-bekendstelling (Bafana Bafana) en moedig aan om nie moed te verloor nie, maar aan te hou. Hy noem die Midde-Ooste-spanning en roep gelowiges op om vredemakers te wees (Matteus 5:9) en te bid vir vrede.
